Not surprised either and was expecting it. What is a tad bizarre is going from a option in 4 centre backs here to an option in 6 at Solihull, no idea how good the other 5 are, but for someone who I'm sure wants to play as much as he can after missing so much last year could be a strange move.

I see Anthony Wordsworth is now at Waterford, in the Irish Premier Division. I don’t know if they’re full time, but surely not many of the 14 players whom we released will go on to get contracts elsewhere. Dunne and Adeloye are the only other ones I’ve spotted signing with professional clubs so far. Of the others, I would guess Hooper’s got a decent chance of getting picked up, due to his prolific spell at at Bromley a couple of years back and to the fact that he did score a few goals last season, in what was a sub-standard team.

Once you’ve been released by the team who finished bottom of the Conference, where is there to go in professional football?

Adam Parkes on trial at Bromley. With Peterborough’s Gyollai apparently reluctant to join us, perhaps we ought to look his number up again…?

Sam Deering to Farnborough (Southern League Premier South).

I'll be looking forward to seeing him play against Chesham and Beaconsfield this season.

No surprise - absolute liability who seemingly can’t accept he’s dropped down the leagues & gets frustrated all the time.

His 2020/21 season summed up with one 90 min performance for his new side.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

The Waterford manager and assistant manager were sent off in injury time, the opposition manager then sent off during extra time.
3-3 after 90 mins, 4-4 after 120 mins, Waterford won 4-2 on penalties - 14 goals and 4 red cards.
