The London Bees got knocked out of the FA Women's Cup in the fourth round tie on Sunday away to Cardiff City with the only goal of the match in extra-time. The Ladies have just under a month to go till their Super League debut starts with four away matches - Oxford United, Yeovil Town, Millwall & Sunderland & then on the 25th of April at the Hive they host Durham. In-between those fixtures they have three group ties in a row for the WSL Cup at the start of May - first one against Millwall in their debut at the Hive on the night of the 1st.

Hive Match Ticket Prices for the London Bees: Adults £4, Concessions (Over 64 or under 19) £2 & U14s £1

The London Bees LFC Reserves/Development team are holding their own in fourth place in the FA WSL Development League Southern Division which started back in November. First League game was a 2 all draw against Oxford away with only ten on the pitch for us in the last quarter of the match, then the Lionesses of Millwall got tamed with a 2-1 home win, on-to March & last years cup finalist Bristol came for a visit - after the Bees were 2-1 down at half-time, they came back to win 3-2 & two days ago a 35 yard equaliser in the 84th minute against Chelsea keeps the unbeaten run going for the time being. Next League game on the training pitches at the Hive against Oxford - Sunday 13th April.

In the FA WSL Development League Cup, the Reserves didn't have much joy. For the first group match a last minute goal for Arsenal straight from a Bees equaliser ended in a 2-1 lose for the Bees who had an average age of seventeen, after the abandon first-half match against Reading - a few weeks later the Royals won 4-1, 1st of December saw a 0-0 home draw against Chelsea, then in February Millwall were awarded a 'Home Walkover' (home win) :?:, by the time we meet Watford up at there's the Ladies were out of the competition but beat the Hornets 3-1.

Great start to the season from the London Bees as they beat Oxford United Ladies & kept a clean sheet in the first ever FAWSL 2 match to have been played in front of 361 in attendance. Captain Sophie Harris & her back four of Vanna Lee, Charlotte Herson, Billie Brooks & Samantha Chappell had to be on top of their game as Oxford came at them from the start but sixteen year old Lucy Loomes made history on 26 minutes when she slotted home the first goal of the match. Lucy's partner up-front Amber Gaylor with twenty minutes to go, took advantage of a mistake by the opposition & made it 2 nil on her debut just inside the box & to round things off CB Brooks scored from a stunning (depends on which report you read, 25 yards, 35 yards or 40 yards) free-kick just before the game was up to finish 0-3.

On to the Development team & at the end of March down in Hampshire (Tadley Calleva FC) the Ladies were 3 up (Lucy Loomes scoring a brace) at half time against Reading which finish 4-1. And on the Sunday just gone at the Hive, Oxford got slapped 6-1 by our girls to keep the unbeaten match League record to six (4 wins, 2 draws) Up next for them is the Millwall away fixture at Beckenham Town FC on Sunday.
