You're right but I'm talking in relative terms here!John_c wrote:Things haven't been optimistic for Palestine since 1947...rudebwoyben wrote:Back when things were a lot more optimistic for Palestine dare I say!

One of their fans had a big flag which seemed to have bullet holes in it.
I recall Lee Hodges got carried off during the first half of that game, and the injury never really cleared up during his time with us.
We won the match with a last minute goal.
Looking back on the final league table, I hadn't realised we missed out on the playoffs on goal difference. I always thought it was by a couple of points. I remember we beat Fulham 3-0 and then were hanging around for 3 other scores to come in. The first one went our way, the other 2 didn't and as soon as the Fulham fans realised they started giving it large!

Yup, I remember Fulham giving it large very well, it was a great end to the season though. Had we made the play offs we were in prime form.ninestein wrote:One of their fans had a big flag which seemed to have bullet holes in it.

It was the penultimate match at Orient which killed us. 3-1 up and drew 3-3 with a rare Maik Taylor horror show.

Just seen they've put the online booking up https://bfc.venuetoolbox.com/VenueManag ... Spectators
Doesn't say it's a double-header -- anyone know any better?! Miles better for the pitch if so!

Does seem to be a double header and it seems we have three year contract.
