New Kit
Re: New Kit
I would have liked to have seen the fourth kit from last year or at least something similar as perhaps the away kit.
I appreciate that without the sponsors they look very bland, but even still I don't think I'll be spending £50 for a shirt which looks more like a training top.

What a steaming pile of Adam Gross, probably the worst shirt we've ever had

There are a few contenders in there.
Re: New Kit
I got used to the white with purple trim. Not keen on the lurid blue, reminds me of a a nasty blue ICIS Barnet away kit from 90s or 00s.
I will to see it for myself as I was not keen on last years kit at first until I saw the Barnet team walk out onto the pitch in it - it looked smart.
Sometimes less is more, and this harks back to the kits of the 80s that were predominately plain amber. I think it'll look good when the players are
running out onto the pitch. Sadly the attention to the large club crest will be lost on TV and it could look like we just got off the peg shirts.
What annoys me now with all modern kits is the fact that they leave the back plain now and cannot be bothered to continue
a design onto the back - the woven badge could have followed round onto the back. No doubt saves on manufacturing costs.

Re: New Kit
On the upside, the new kit does have a nice neckline.
Re: New Kit
I can't remember, but have we ever played in blue, love the comments on twitter!
Re: New Kit

When was the blue and white stripe with Mortgage Express John? I think I have one John Doolan gave me was it 1998?
Re: New Kit
07/08 100 years of underhill kit Tony. doolan would have worn the blue kit in 98/99Reckless wrote:When was the blue and white stripe with Mortgage Express John? I think I have one John Doolan gave me was it 1998?
Re: New Kit
No you're right the one I have from JD is the Loaded from 1998.
Re: New Kit
More interested in who we have wearing it than its fashion factor....
Re: New Kit
the stripes were 07/8 - 98/99 was sponsored by loaded and made by the terrorists of icis!!
Re: New Kit
I'm sure TK isn't an idiot, but, he does sometimes do a better impression of that than my Ronnie Corbett. Which is good. There must be at least 20 fans that could advise him, for just a pint or two.
Re: New Kit
I couldn't go tonight so have only seen photos but apart from appearing a bit plain, I can't see what the problem is. I quite like the look of the away strip, blue seems rather un-Barnetish to me but there again, how often will we wear it anyway?
Agree I'd have liked the amber 3rd strip from last season as our home kit - but that was never going to happen. I did see us play in it once!

I'd say in the majority of our away games unless the opposition wear bluebecbee wrote:I couldn't go tonight so have only seen photos but apart from appearing a bit plain, I can't see what the problem is.
