Shaq
Shaq
JS mentioned this in his post match interview at Wrexham, I'm surprised no-one has picked up on it...
Shaq's mother sadly passed away this week, hence why he has been missing games of late.
Shaq, our thoughts are with you and your family.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Re: Shaq
That's awful.
Bad enough losing a parent but at that age, he must be devastated.
Poor fella.

Re: Shaq
Very sad for Shaq and his family. Knowing now that this is what he’s been going through makes his performances against Fylde and Havant all the more remarkable.

Was it public knowledge at the time that he'd lost his mum?UnderhillStackSave wrote:Shame on the people who were on here slating him about doing better. You know who you are.
If so, fair enough, but I really don't think it was.
So it's not really a fair comment is it.
And pretty inappropriate based on the general feeling of the thread.

Exactly my point, no of us know what goes on behind close doors but all are so quick to judge and assumeNorfolk & Chance wrote:Was it public knowledge at the time that he'd lost his mum?UnderhillStackSave wrote:Shame on the people who were on here slating him about doing better. Deepest condolences to Shaq.
Re: Shaq
Perhaps fans could give a round of applause at a set time in appreciation of Shaq - e.g. 18th minute for 2018, or age his mother passed. Losing a parent is a horrible experience and it will take a long time to grieve.
I hold my hand up to being one of the fans critical of Shaq - but I am referring to his time at the club overall, not just the past couple of weeks. I really hope his form in past couple of matches will help him to kick on, with football providing a welcome distraction for him.
