Not a great take-up so far. I don't mind the price personally, but think it's a bad idea to be on the expensive side and the club will lose some fans, at a time when they should be trying to retain them/gain new ones. It's a big price hike for those who previously had season tickets in the South stand, people have got out the habit of going to the football, Barnet had a terrible last season, fans only saw 4 games for their ticket (not club's fault), fanbase getting older not younger, there may be non-Barnet fans out there ready to give lower league football a go after how some of the Premier league clubs have acted. It seems like a lost opportunity here to reduce ticket price a bit and keep/gain interest. We'll see what the on-the-day prices are, but based on the season ticket price, am not too hopeful it will be attractive.Mikel Bee wrote:169 sold in the first 12 hours.
SagePay have a repeat payment API which sets up a Continuous Payment Authority so the club are probably using that to manage monthly subscriptions this season. Checked my Direct Debits though and still notice the the one from the 2020 season is still there.jerroll wrote:Did anyone take up the monthly option , its not very clear as to whether a DD needs to be set up or whether they store card details and just take card payment each month?
Got my ticket though

Re: Season tickets?
Ultimately though, what price should Barnet ( and other NL clubs ) charge?
There is a hard core who will pay up regardless. There are those who won't come regardless ( but will be at the front of the queue if/ when we have a big match).
There are those who have financially suffered as a result of the Pandemic. There are those who have maintained their income but spent far less so have no such concerns.
There are those who are still nervous about venturing out.
And most of all, there are those put off by last season and who will wait to see signs of recovery before spending their money.
Financing the club's efforts to improve staffing and players costs money. I can see the problem from all sides.

Re: Season tickets?
Interesting. Can't imagine why Kings Lynn is so expensive - or why Eastleigh and Solihull are so cheap ( although Solihull then charge their juniors more than we do!).
Also, we are the 3rd most expensive for adults yet we offer a far better reduction for concessions than many others - our concessions are joint 11th. (Halifax charge everybody full price).

Re: Season tickets?
Although I do not intend to go to every home match next season £20 a month for a concession is good value.
Re: Season tickets?
Trying everything but still can't get my seat booked. Apparently they're having system problems but still cant get back my old seat. Frustrating!
I am happy with the prices to be honest, just be glad to be back watching us in person (hopefully!)

Re: Season tickets?
I've been suckered in for another season. Just booked my old seat no problems. Time will tell if its money well spent.
Re: Season tickets?
I'm going to hold off buying membership until everyone is sorted,
It's going to be tricky as It'll be me plus occasionally 1-2 others so I'd rather not be boxed in. Wasn't a problem in the terrace.

Re: Season tickets?
Any ideas on numbers. Reading the clubs twitter it seems there might be some sort of change announced soon?
Re: Season tickets?
If fans can prove they were terrace dwellers last season then they should be offered Legends for that price or at a concessionary price.

Re: Season tickets?
Notts County have an adult season ticket for £350, Kings Lynn have an adult standing season ticket for £380. For those of us who prefer to stand at games Barnet FC has the most expensive season ticket in the league and is removing our preferred option without any consultation at all.Ajtheone04 wrote:https://www.instagram.com/p/CR6JwqZg6Wu ... =copy_link

Not complaining, just not buying.
Does anyone think this approach to pricing is going to result in the club selling even the same number of season tickets as it sold for the 2019/20 season or as many pay as you go tickets for the run of games before the success or otherwise of the team kicks in ?
Re: Season tickets?
Success on the pitch will help improve attendances but does the fact that we've set our stall out early with high ticket prices suggest that the club isn't expecting to be successful this season?
