Very sad news indeed. Remembering his great appearances at White Hart Lane and also when he turned out for the Bees.
A great character as well as stand out striker. I was at Wembley to see the England squad collect their medals for 66. The biggest cheer was for when Jimmy stepped up. RIP Jimmy.

So many brilliant memories of him during his football career and especially his time with Barnet. Rest in peace Jimmy, it was such a privilege to have met you.

What a pleasure it was for the supporters like myself who witnessed him turning out for our club. His passion for the game even at his age then would And does put players half his age of today who believe they are better than they actually are. And for him to say his best goal he scored was for Barnet against Grantham ( pretty sure he said it was Grantham ).best English striker ever. R.I.P Legend
