A big physical striker, we do need one of those!
Re: Spotted any potential from the released lists ?
His last 3 seasons - 19/20 Hartlepool 25 appearances, 7 goals
20/21 Kilmarnock 42 appearances, 5 goals
21/22 Northampton and Woking loan 42 appearances, 3 goals
Not the return we'd be looking for in player described as a striker

Bear in mind though, we’ll be looking at bringing in more than 1 striker. If we sign him, at 6”3 he’s the target man we want. From that a more natural finisher should be the next target

Spot on. Good signing from all accounts (Northampton and Woking fans) as long as we have a 2nd striker to play off him.Spodothebee wrote: ↑21 Jun 2022, 11:54Bear in mind though, we’ll be looking at bringing in more than 1 striker. I’ve always been quite impressed by what I’ve seen of Kabamba, who of course scored both goals for Hartlepool in a 2-0 defeat for us up there in our play-off season. From memory he’s very quick and mobile for a big, strong frontman, although despite his size I don’t think he’s so comfortable playing with his back to goal in a Michael Gash-type role.
While it wouldn’t surprise me if we signed him, it would be a slightly odd one because I think Brennan loaned him out to lower-division Hampton & Richmond and then allowed him to go there permanently (I think Wikipedia is wrong when it says he was merely on loan at Hemel).
Mind you, his strike partner at H&R was Jamal Lowe, who is the stand-out example of how released players can go on to force managers and fans to reassess them!

Thought this was a likely one!Tuesds wrote: ↑17 May 2022, 16:34 Eastleigh fans seem to think they’ve released some of their better players. Left-footed central midfielder Harry Pritchard played over 40 games this season and scored 7 goals. …
Suspect we won’t be looking so far afield, although I note that Pritchard is from Wycombe and played at Maidenhead for several years.
