We all know it costs too much for TK to fork out for actually amber. He buys directly from a catalogue.
That’s complete nonsense.

TK always insists on Pantone 151c.

However, the vast majority of kit suppliers,
don’t or won’t do specifics, unless vastly inflated
sums are forthcoming.

Bear in mind, cost of replicas for sale would,
therefore, have to reflect those costs.

Cue, more outrage from our supporters.

Maidstone United play in amber – so how do they produce their kits and sell them for a regular price?

Same point.

Do you know how many shades of amber are in
the Pantone colour range. ??

You just forced home my point. It’s too expensive for TK

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't think anyone cares which specific shade of amber, do they? Just that it's broadly amber rather than orange. Which - based on the Maidstone example - should be feasible at a reasonable price, no?

Great Yarmouth F.C. somehow manage to wear black & amber, probably not one of the richest clubs in the country.

I’ve seen other clubs use a blow torch to bring the colour back. Maybe a few fans could volunteer?
From the Pritchard Interview it looks like they've done it, compare those orange seats with the ones in Diarra's interview and they look much better (assuming that the pritchard video wasn't filmed in the away stand)

Looks like the away stand as it has concrete treads. West Stand is metal
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
