Q&A with DB (and TK?)
Q&A with DB (and TK?)
Does anybody know if we will have an opportunity to question DB and TK in an open evening before the start of the season? We really should have a proper chance to ask the questions which keep coming up on this forum and scotch all the rumours.
Re: Q&A with DB (and TK?)
We-re trying to set something up, hopefully should be able to confirm soon.

Oh yes, the Still and Currie one. That was when Still said his ambition was to get Barnet into League One. TK was nodding enthusiastically.

Martin Allen one was good. Remember we had Telford first game, they'd signed a well known forward and he was asked how we would deal with him. He just said Hendo will sort it!
Re: Q&A with DB (and TK?)
That Telford game was great.
One of the hottest days ever.
Big things were expected of Telford who had spent a lot of money in the summer whilst we were entering a new era of apparent belt tightening after getting rid of almost all of the football league relegation squad.
2-0 Hendon and Strevens.
A classic Martin Allen team performance.
Without cheating, I think there were "only" about 1,300 there, and they probably brought a couple hundred.

I went to dear ol Ray Clemences one.
A humble and honest gent. Entertaining too.

I think Lee Mills was the much-heralded striker on whom Telford had splashed the cash. I remember them being described as ‘the Chelsea of non-league football’!

Wasn’t that Darlington with the escalator in the stadium?
