BFCSA Committee Elections

Post: # 337191Post MCB »

Just in case anyone was unaware, we're pausing the committee elections after an error in the email address meant one prospective candidate was missed off the voting form. Apologies to everyone who has voted. If you also were not included but had applied, please see below.

An email will go out soon reconfirming the new voting process. Apologies again.

Committee Election is suspended

Please do not cast any further votes for the election. Two issues have come to light 1. One of the original candidates has requested to withdraw from the election and 2. A candidate was accidentally missed from the original candidates due to an email error on our behalf.

We apologise for any inconvenience but we want to make sure that these elections are completely open and transparent. We will be advise shortly of a new election process, all existing votes cast will be ignored.

If anyone else thinks they may have been missed off, please email hello@bfcsa1926.com ASAP.

It is vital that we have a strong Supporters Association.
The Committee will, I am sure, do it's very best to represent our interests.
I hope that Barnet fans give full support to the new Committee. Picking up the pieces from the good work done by the old SA and the Trust is not going to be easy so we must be very patient.

Alex this is off point. This post is about the elections!

Feel free to open another thread about the FSA . It could summarise what that body does and invite people to become members. That would be most helpful.

I think you know we are not members of that association.

People are quite welcome to become individual members if they like which i mentioned on one of the other occasions you raised this point.

Are you still a member?

If so we would appreciate your feedback either personally or through your friends.

Indeed from anybody else on this forum who happen to be involved.

The support or help from any of our members is always welcomed.

best wishes

John

In the words of Groucho Marx "Please accept my resignation. I don't care to belong to any club that will have me as a member".

In all seriousness though thanks for all the good work done so far. Sorting our Neck Oil and Season Tickets are two big ticks as far as I am concerned.

Good luck to the new committee.

The BFCSA or the FSA Alex?

Everything is online now so physical distance is irrelevant surely.

Fair enough. I don't know why you put yourself through watching and commenting on this Forum Alex.

Still you must be happy with our start to the season and how it makes all your old buddies feel.

Take care of yourself.

Congrats to the new committee members. More importantly thank you to those who stood and didn't get elected, it's so important to have a vibrant Committee.
