Be nice to draw the latter and be able to give Ismail Yakubu a warm welcome. One of my all-time favourite Bees. Still playing over twenty years on from his Barnet debut!

Was the televised Boston game his first one? I’m sure it was around that time - if memory serves he also had to miss a midweek away game (Yeovil?) that spring due to his GCSEs!
I think it was!

The best possible draw for me. I can’t make this match, so don’t miss an interesting away trip and we should surely (please please please) get through.

Unbeaten, and second in their league with a game in hand. Zero confidence in us to beat them in 10 days time.

Can’t wait to hear DB come out and say after a narrow defeat.

‘They’re a great side, I know the manager, he’s a personal friend of mine. We were just beaten by the better team who have had the group together a while’

I see that one of WSM’s strikers (most squads have at least 3 or 4) is Reuben Reid, who has scored against us several times at The Hive. Most recently he got Yeovil’s late equaliser in the 2-2 draw earlier this year.

Just another thought to add to the good cheer in these parts!

I seem to recall him scoring against us for Torquay possibly more than once. A real scary nuisance.

At least we avoided Hendon, Wealdstone and Borehamwood.

Wealdstone and Boringwood got each other, the highlight of the round in the Pub team championship!

I was getting rather worried that we might get Wealdstone or Borehamwood but then they drew each other. The next ball out was us!

I did laugh at this! Funny now, really won't be if it comes to pass.

Lewis Hogg played for both sides.

I remember him scoring at Leigh RMI in a 4-1 win in October 2003 but not making much of an impression, despite 16 appearances. One of Martin Allen's many loan signings!
