Another moan at the club.
Re: Another moan at the club.
There is no alternative to TK. The hive and the club are too intertwined. I’ve just decided to give up all hope on on the off field point of view and just back the team
Re: Another moan at the club.
Someone near me on saturday summed it up.
Now the Hive is falling apart, what was the point of moving?

Please explain " Even the fans are crap" ?adher36 wrote: ↑03 Oct 2022, 11:57 We can all see that everything about this damn football club is wrong. The one thing that looked like we had going for us was our manager, and even that has turned out to be wrong.
Genuinely can't think of a single positive thing about the club. Even the fans are crap.

Not saying it ok Derek the point I was trying to make is that it is not just Barnet fc that produces rubbish food.

Why do you need to “be fair” about it ? Isn’t that just a levelling down exercise ?letchbee94 wrote: ↑03 Oct 2022, 20:25 Not saying it ok Derek the point I was trying to make is that it is not just Barnet fc that produces rubbish food.
Re: Another moan at the club.
The atmosphere has fallen flat somewhat. Even the tossers would prefer to take their business elsewhere.

Apparently that hot dog was the away end? York give us Betty's, we give them..!
Makes me think, maybe the crepe shop could be good somewhere outside the ground? By the ticket office or Hive Bar? Would be more visible, attract footfall and could be a nice thing to do before the match?

Good idea, but that involves enterprise and thinking! :-/wearebees wrote: ↑03 Oct 2022, 21:43 Apparently that hot dog was the away end? York give us Betty's, we give them..!

It would appear that the BFCSA have done a TK and given up already...
Re: Another moan at the club.
Admittedly it was summer and their ground layout is different to ours but at the PSF at St Albans there was a nice outdoor bar type atmosphere within the ground. I imagine fans felt tempted to arrive earlier for that. The creperie should have been equally providing something nice pre match , not hidden away so most had no idea that they were even there.
However, to my mind, this is secondary to the club being able to communicate within the ground on matchday. We still have no idea why there was no doctor available. Even if we're incompetent, I'm surprised that York hadn't brought one with them. There might well have been a doctor in attendance in the crowd who could have alerted staff to his presence. Not a long term solution but could have come in handy had there been a medical emergency.
Or maybe York had brought their doctor but two are required before a match can proceed?
Mistakes / delays etc happen but it really annoys me that there has been nothing from the club by way of an explanation / apology.

The applicable National League rule for the presence of doctors is given below. I thought I saw somewhere that the doctor was delayed by his involvement in responding to a traffic accident.
“4. MEDICAL
There must be a nominated and suitably qualified person in attendance to assist with spectator problems unless the St John Ambulance Brigade, Red Cross Society or other capable agency are in attendance. The requirements of the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds are for one first aider per 1000 anticipated spectators, with a minimum of two.
If a crowd of less than 2000 is anticipated, known and practiced arrangements should be in place to summon either a doctor or NHS ambulance alternative. For crowds of over 2000, an experienced crowd doctor should be in attendance.”
Rule 1.13 of the Ground rules for the National League requires that:
“A public address system must be provided which is clearly audible in all areas of the ground which can be occupied by spectators.“
We are clearly in breach of this rule at the moment.
