William Hill, Coral and Ladbrokes are all offering 3/1 on a Bees win.
Very generous of them…or do they know something?

Down to 5/2 for a top 7 finish but still at longer odds than Southend, Bromley, Borehamwood and Solihull Moors.

The odds of 3/1 have gone. Pretty well all bookies are showing odds on a Bees win shortening and odds on a Wood win drifting. If you got in quick with the 3/1 well done to you.

Latest odds…
Wood win 23/20 (they were odds on)
Bees win 12/5
Draw 13/5

So, Wood are still favourites to win (good) and there’s still decent value in a Bees win.

Good luck all.

Do you ever have bad vibes about certain Bees games? I do, and I’ve got the heeby jeebies that our game against Gateshead might not go according to plan.
The Heed are a better team than what their league position might indicate. Consequently Hoppy’s 50p wont be invested in a home win, I will possibly scare the bookies and go for the draw.

Bees win 6/5
Heed win 12/5
Draw 13/5

Whatever option you go for I wish you good luck. May 2023 be a great year for us and a poor year for the bookies.

Quick heads up on Saturday’s FA Trophy match as, once again, the bookies seem to be sniffing glue.
Solihull big odds-on, Barnet as high as 4/1 with Betfred, William Hills go 15/4.
I would be surprised if these generous odds dont get gobbled up quickly.

I put a tenner on Bees to finish in top 3 at 40 to 1 at the start of the season with bet365 . Looked silly for a while but beginning to have hope!

Fingers crossed for you Paul. Those odds of 40/1 were a bit mean, though. You can get 200/1 right now with bet365 for Barnet to finish in the top three.

Avid readers of this thread know that when we are second favourites to win we invariably do win. So get gargling and, please, DO try to sing in tune…. “Wemberley, Wemberley etc etc.”

Unfortunately the 4/1 that I mentioned earlier has gone but 7/2 is widely available on a Bees win.

Moors win 4/6
Bees win 7/2
Draw 3/1

Incidentally, with both Wrexham and Chesterfield chucking the towel in I wonder whether Notts County will also field a much-weakened team against Maidstone United and exit the competition.
It might be worth a little flutter on the Stones…you can get odds of 7/1 on them winning at County.

Good luck all.

Well I do hope some of you took advantage of those ludicrous odds offered by the bookies on Saturday. We assume they have good knowledge but it just goes to show that they can get things wrong….and we can benefit!!
Tonight the odds are more what you might expect.

Bees win 10/11
Yeovil win 13/5
Draw 14/5

I wont be at The Hive tonight so I may well bet “in play”.

Good luck all.

So those same bookies who have recently boosted our bank accounts with absurd odds at Alty (12/5), Oldham (9/4), Boreham Wood (12/5) and Solihull Moors (7/2) are at it again. 4/1 on a Bees win tomorrow!! Worth a punt? I should think so!

Woking win 6/4
Bees win 4/1
Draw 3/1

You can get the 4/1 at Ladbrokes, Coral and William Hill.
Remember, Avid Reader, when the bookies favour the opposition we usually win.

Good luck all.

Yet again we are not favourites to win (we all know that counts for nothing). I cant see a goal fest tonight but one goal for us and a clean sheet will be good enough for me!!

Eastleigh win 11/8
Bees win 21/10
Draw 12/5

Good luck all.

Let’s hope tomorrow’s game goes ahead and let’s hope (and pray) that we can make a dent into the bookies bank accounts.
The Spireites are odds on favourites so, consequently, you can get decent odds on a Bees win. We are up against a decent side but on our day we aren't too shabby.

Spireites win 10/11
Bees win 29/10
Draw 3/1

Good luck all.

Well I hope some of you took the bookies to the cleaners on Saturday. We have another chance tonight as, yet again, the Bees are second favourites. It is quite remarkable how many times we have won games against opposition that the bookies deem to be favourites to beat us.

Eastleigh win 11/8
Bees win 2/1
Draw 12/5

Good luck all.

We have had a great run recently depriving bookies of their funds, most notably when we are not the favourites to win.
Tonight, however, we are favourites and the odds are just a little on the mean side to tempt me. I have bad vibes about this match. Scunny have a new owner, a new manager and several new players. Im sure the Scunny fans will be really behind their team tonight. We have some injuries as well so I will not be raiding my piggy bank to back the Bees on this particular game.

Scunny win 13/5
Bees win 11/10
Draw 14/5

Good luck all.
