Be warned however, other "non impacted" services have been cancelled this week becasue of the "landslide" - I think the problem is that staff can't get to the right location.

My advice don't leave travelling to the last minute. Otherwise it should be fine. Oh and don't rely on trainline.com for train times. When I travelled on Tuesday all the Southampton mainline trains were still scheduled and bookable for this week, even though there was no chance of operating the timetable.
I rang South Western Rail today and they said Waterloo to Woking was working normally today but they couldn't confirm tomorrow until they received the schedule. That was the view from the call centre in India anyway. So who knows!?

Trains are running between Waterloo and Woking. They terminate at Woking and anyone going beyond Woking requires a bus. Luckily we ain't. Massive game. We need to start well, which we haven't been doing recently at all. We need 5 points from the next three games in my opinion. It's a tough ask, but anything less and we could start to slip out of the play offs.

I haven't driven there since the pandemic, anyone know if the leisure centre parking is still as easy as it has been in the past or is it rammed on Saturdays past 2pm?

Maybe the Leslie Gosden stand casts such a big shadow over the pitch, it hampers the state of the pitch in these sorts of situations?
They could have held off until midday tomorrow IMO.

Maidenhead v Dagenham has also been called off, so it's not like they are the only team locally to have postponed.

Farnborough's game is still on for now but I would expect that to be postponed too.

But in all seriousness, do clubs not invest in covers?

I suspect sh@thousery here. I've been in Guildford today and the weather is cold but pleasant, and there's not much frost. At midday tomorrow the weather is predicted to be 5c so how can the pitch be frozen.

Probably depends on the shade etc. I'm in Dorset, admittedly not local, but the part of my garden that gets less sun is rock solid almost like concrete. I'm pleased they've announced it early, I was holding off buying tickets until the morning in the hope there would be some clarity.
