Great picture of Nicke celebrating on front of Non League Paper today, altho' heading words are a bit ironic,
' Treble King Kabamba 'Leaves' Bees Buzzing !' Eats Shoots and Leaves ! Don't think so, slip of the tongue !

He’s only joined Peterborough on loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer though. Presumably they will have to wait till the summer for the cash.

Although of course, as both us and they are NL, the 31st Jan Deadline doesn't apply.

Was worried and was hoping nobody would come in for Tshimanga, as according to Chesterfield if they got him off there wage bill it would leave them open to sign a replacement, and it seems they and there manager are very keen on bringing in Nicki Kabamba, as others have said because he lives local, and is finally playing for a manager who believes in him would this be enough for him to stay, but if Chesterfield are willing to double his wages this could be enough to sway him, just crossing fingers he or club refuses any offer that may come in.

Because of the way the Kabby deal has been structured I believe Chesterfield don’t have the funds for an upfront transfer.

Possibly & hopefully! I'm still hoping for sell-on fees for Edwards,Taylor & EMC too!
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

After Barry Fry offloaded Serhat Tasdemir upon us I don't feel as charitably inclined towards his support of Barnet as I might otherwise have done. There again, we did do well getting Idris Kanu from Posh.

Having looked on the Chesterfield forum, I found this re the Tshmanga deal:

"The obligation to buy is the key thing. It means they have to buy him. He could play on Saturday and break his leg, they still have to buy him. We will have received a "loan fee", they will be paying his wages and he will officially become their player on 1st July.
It is a way around FFP because it pushes it to next season, but they get the player now.
As good as a full sale. Plus most player sales are not paid in full whatever league you're in. Most clubs pay in installments. It will also reduce any payments due to Borehamwood if we've made a profit, because the loan fee won't be included as his sale fee.
There's been at least 2 similar loans with obligation to buy on Sky Sports News today 🤷"

I won’t have this Barry Fry slander re Tasdemir! We wanted Tasdemir - a lot - hence it was not a case of Barry Fry offloading him onto us, but us very enthusiastically taking him off their hands. Harry Kewell had signed him and managed him on loan at Oldham and was a huge fan of his, as per both his own public comments and Dean Brennan’s comments since.

We wanted to buy Tasdemir, spending not only a load of cold, hard cash on him but also committing to at least a two year deal. It was only because Tasdemir himself didn’t want to come to us on a permanent deal that we didn’t do so, and Barry Fry/Posh agreed a loan deal instead, while probably continuing to pay a chunk of his wages.

Tasdemir was an exciting young player playing in the first team and scoring and making goals at National League high-flyers and big-spenders Fylde at just 18, so I’m sure there will have been other takers for him. In other words there was no reason for Posh to dupe us over him. And they didn’t!

There's a strong link for Edwards joining Stoke tonight with DMAC hinting on twitter that they wouldn't be any more incomings unless a high end deal was agreed for a player leaving POSH.
