Oh God yeah, he was crap. But signing him was our fault, no-one else’s.

According to Chesterfield forum he has gone on loan with obligation to buy in the summer, reports on there site suggest there getting £50,000 now with further £200,000 in july. What was interesting was someone from Birmingham said Tshiminga would never pass a genuine medical ever again, but believe he had one with Peterborough, unless there gambling for the money involved.

We wanted to buy Tasdemir, spending not only a load of cold, hard cash on him but also committing to at least a two year deal. It was only because Tasdemir himself didn’t want to come to us on a permanent deal that we didn’t do so, and Barry Fry/Posh agreed a loan deal instead, while probably continuing to pay a chunk of his wages.

Tasdemir was an exciting young player playing in the first team and scoring and making goals at National League high-flyers and big-spenders Fylde at just 18, so I’m sure there will have been other takers for him. In other words there was no reason for Posh to dupe us over him. And they didn’t!
Tasdemir no longer appears on the Buxton website and hasn't been involved in any of their games since a brief substitute appearance early in January.

Buxton have a long list of all their match reports, with teams , which shows his last start was 2nd October, after that he was a sub - sometimes used, sometimes not.
Whatever ability he may have had seems to have been sadly wasted.

Seems most unlikely that any club would commit £250,000 for a player without being completely certain of his fitness. Sounds like the comment from someone from Birmingham can be taken with a pinch of salt.

I'm sure you're right, and you would think this is how clubs operate, but Hull City spending £5million on an injured Jimmy Bullard in 2009 suggests that's not always the case!

Incredibly they also accidentally paid him an extra £15,000 a week!

Why would Nicke join Chesterfield. The togetherness on the pitch shows that there must be a togetherness off the pitch too. It can be daunting starting a new job - will you get on with the new team, will you be isolated, are you moving to a new area you don't know, can you break into established cliques etc. , are you happy outside match and training where you have to kill time until the next match cycle? It's not just about the money

I hope Nicke has settled at Barnet, has proved he is worthy of a bigger contract ( remember the pre-season doubters ) and can probably get the tube home. More realistic for a Stevenage, Orient, Northampton etc. to temp Nicke - though I think he'll stick given we are upwardly mobile at the moment.

As for the playoffs - I fancy our chances against any of the the top 7 - As whoever does not get top spot out of Notts County / Wrexham will surely be affected mentally

Happy Birthday to the big man! I wonder if he might be offered a small contract extension/rise?

Realisitically, none of us know what is going on in the background.

Sadly money blinds people to anything. Look at Ronaldo, playing in a country which routinely beheads people for non-capital offences, like protesting, not terrorism, against the government. Apparently even during the World Cup they executed about 12 people. And the way they treat women!

I don't think they go in for beheading in Chesterfield but evidence shows that they can do a nasty twist!
