Hopefully DB will be able to bring someone in on loan - I rate Jordan Thomas but it’s a lot to ask when he hasn’t played all season.

As I’ve said before, it would be nice if we didn’t have to find out this sort of thing via supporters speaking to DB directly - why is it beyond our new media team to do a pre-match interview for every game and a post-match one that comes out on the day of the actual game?
Totally agree with the last part of your post, pre match interviews and to date still no post match interview if DB chats with supporters and tells them about injuries to players, why the hell is there no interview to let all supporters know this, with the new Media team I hoped this area would be one thing that would improve, but it hasnt, and this is what annoys many supporter.

The interview has been online since yesterday, you just need to search for it on YouTube. It really would make sense to just tweet the link and post it on the website straight away though.

Yeah sorry, have started checking the clubs Twitter account as it's normally on there first, but checked clubs own site and found it on there, not sure what is happening regarding wynter and Danny Collinge, as in interview Dean said we will have to see how they are, but according to supporter who said Dean spoke to him and good him the times he expected them to be out for. Perhaps he doesn't want to show his cards to Notts County. Interesting to hear reason why he took off woods,

We only have the word of a first time poster that he actually spoke to DB. Quite honestly I have my doubts that DB would tell a random supporter more than he is prepared to divulge in an official interview.

They are both defensive midfielders who can do a job at centre-half at a push, but asking them to play as an attacking right back is just completely out of the question and if we try then it will cost us.

Reverting to 3 at the back with 1 of them playing there might work, but not with them at right back in a 4.

Jordan Thomas could be the answer, but that's a hell of a risk after so long out. Based on DB's preference for robust players who play every week, I expect him to move heaven and Earth to sign someone else.
According to michael Phillips himself, he can play rb

Can play and should play are different things though.

Good job well done when not at our very best but like Brennan said it all about the result. Good to see Smith with another 2 goals.
Both teams hit the woodwork just like on Tuesday at Halifax.

Anyone at the Hive in next round.

Results went our way in league as well.

I don't mind Phillips, (in midfield), but he also said he can play centre-half.....

That being said, he might just be asked to play right back. Certainly willing and we are going to need to plug a few holes between now and the end of the season.

It's my opinion that manager should never discuss squad / team line up in build up to game. Teamsheet an hour before kickoff is the right time

Annoyingly away from home & how did they beat Eastleigh 4-0 at the weekend, however close enough & the 2nd lowest team left in it........
