Looking through the football results this afternoon and the premier league were all on as would be expected and the further down the leagues the more fixtures were cancelled due to frozen pitches. How come nearly every game in Scotland went ahead????

A far higher percentage of clubs in the Scottish Leagues have artificial pitches and perhaps the temperatures weren’t as freezing last night in Scotland as they were here in England.

In the meantime a few results in the past week or so have gone our way, especially Bromley getting 4 out of 9 points and now being 3 points behind having played 2 more.

Other than Dagenham and Southend I’d have Bromley and borehamwood as our main rivals for 5th/play off spot.

Almost everybody has played more matches than us - there are 4 of us on 24 matches. Only Chesterfield on 23 have played less.

They looked very decent yesterday - should have won comfortably. Michael Cheek is some player! (And Adam Marriott not able to get into the team)

I see Woking have pushed their home game v Torquay (scheduled for this Tuesday) back 24 hours to Wednesday.

Might be worth Eastleigh & Barnet doing something similar
