Anthony wrote: 18 May 2023, 21:11 The Barnet three at Peterborough have just squandered their 4-0 first leg lead in the PO semi final vs Sheff Wednesday, conceding a goal in the 98th minute to lose the game 4-0.

Extra time now being played and Sheff Wed are all over them.

The play offs have really produced some stories this year!
Notwithstanding the score Ronnie Edwards is looking so composed at the back for Posh.
A Premier side will surely come in for him.
Posh have just scored to make it 5 4.
Now 5-5. Very dramatic match.

Glad they took Mason-Clarke off before the penalties, didn't want to see him potentially miss one.

Good for the chairman to help offset losses to balance the books , doubt we as supporters will see any benefit.

I wonder what the transfer fee would be. And, more importantly, what cut Barnet FC would get.

A financially solvent club is surely a benefit to all supporters, you just have to look at clubs not in that position to see that.

Minging - his time as boss has now become a complete blur, vacant from my mind. Only in the record books did he ever have a spell as Barnet boss. Good luck Gloucs

What I meant was don't expect that money to be splashed on players!

Normally i would agree. However, with the numbers being spoken about (in the millions) at least some of it will be given to the manager, even 100k will make a difference. I find it hard to believe but on the posh forum they mention a 50% sell on (unheard of!) https://londonroad.net/Forum/showthread ... edwards+50

I would imagine the money will go into balancing the books plus another signing from Posh ala Santos and Kanu (less Tasdemir!)
