After there last game were they had two players sent off, for Tuesdays game against Maidenhead they are really struggling to put a team out, and if they do good chance they won't have any subs on the bench. Also Rob Marin is up in court again ( tomorrow I believe ) there fans seem to think it could be a utility company after unpaid debts, this is in top of the club's court case which is in October 4th. Feel gutted for there supporters, but there fans are asking why carnt the game be cancelled due to lack of players, but a few fans have pointed out if it is cancelled for lack of players because of the reason for this and then under a transfer ban the result would probably go down as a 0-3 lost. How does Ron Martin sleep at night.

Can they field youth team players or is that prohibited under their sanctions I wonder!

Not allowed. They could only register 16 players for the new season, 1 has been injured for weeks. On Saturday they named 3 subs but 1 was unfit to play and still is. Their goalkeeper got injured late in match on Saturday, ankle has come up like a balloon and he couldn't train today. They have appealed their 2 red cards but that sound like more in desperation than anything. Presently have 10 available fit players for tomorrow.

Should never have started the season... if it had been a Maidenhead or Dorking would not have been afforded same chances.
I feel really sorry for the fans who deserve better and have always enjoyed visits to Roots Hall with fish and chips on the estuary.
We will be impacted by loss of Boxing Day and New Year fixtures that usually bring in larger crowds

It is a minimum 7 players to start a game...
If Southend start with 10, will be interesting to see if opposition start with 11 or match Southend

I thought they could bring in temporary players to make up the numbers if they provide medical evidence that they have players unable to start tomorrow. How they'd pay the replacements is quite another matter.

Or that Maidenhead have been completely hopeless lately, as they were against Wood on Saturday.

On reading Southend Fans Forum last night Maidenhead fans had brought 3 tickets, Southend Fans made a joke saying " No need to open away stand let them sit in our dug out there be plenty of room",Southend fans apparently sold over 3,500 tickets, great support considering the state there in,

No, no youth players as not registered, cannot bring in loan players or Trial players as under transfer embargo, apparently quite a few of there fans are planning on turning up at the court Ron Martin is due at today, court hearing it is him not the club.

Can totally understand there frustration, but if they were blocking his car on his driveway they could of got arrested for being on his property, protest yes, but don't go down to his level, it's not worth getting a criminal record, as he seems the sort who would press charges.
