I think people rounding on Roy57 are being very unfair. I do not know Roy.

He says positive things and negative things as we all do.

Some posts we agree with. Some we don't.

None of his posts are out of order.

Leave the man alone.

The messageboard is richer for his presence as it is with all contrasting viewpoints within the rules of this forum.

No-one should be mocked or ridiculed.

IMO this board is well moderated, the very fact that none of the responses have been deleted suggests that the moderators don't agree with your opinion that Roy57 has been mocked or ridiculed.

Not once did he knock it past the player and beat him for pace.

More annoying was Wynter not recognising the opportunity to play it into the space for Senior to run into.

The guy has pace to burn and yet the one occasion he used it was to win the ball back on the halfway line. I can absolutely see why Brennan gets frustrated with him considering what he seems capable of.
Isn’t that more a consequence of him being deployed as a wing-back then anything else?

Mansfield are something like 19 unbeaten in the league, I highly doubt they'd recall him

Maybe, but considering how poor Oxford looked defensively it seemed a missed opportunity to get in behind them.

To me it definitely looked like he was instructed to avoid getting in behind

The toilets at Oxford were a disgrace 1 toilet per 200 male fan and it lead to some humorous and well managed dashes in to the ladies when free.

The segregation was abysmal and stewarding inadequate. The small patch of grass we congregated on while waiting for food and drink resembled a mud bath by the end.

The car park was chaotic and unmanaged. Every inch a step 3 ground and based on their football the ground will soon be suitable for their level again.

It was however nice to cheer the players as they wandered through the leisure centre and we waited in the toilet queue of doom.

This is a negative post despite me saying one nice thing.

It's a National League South ground and they are heading back there so I wouldn't worry. The problem they have is the segregation. The bar and facilities on the left look good. To be fair I've never bought a homemade brownie from a football ground and it was one of the best ever, and some interesting beers.

Whoever thought of the Hooper song is genius, can't get it out of my head and I hate Abba! How about some songs for all the other players who don't have one?

It’s a Step 3-4 level ground, not a NLS level one. I think they were at Step 4 or 5 when it was built.
I had a chocolate brownie too, it was very good!

First the negatives, thought the oxford stewards lacked common sense by not opening up the whole of terrace to us, also the toilet have to be the worst along with Bromely and Wealdstone.

Was good to get another win on the road and with a clean sheet, should have been 3 or 4 up at ht, 2 good finishes by Stead.

The highlights are up on YouTube.
It was Pritchard who made the amazing goal-line clearance at the start of the second-half, not Potter as I thought.
