I thought Coker started the season well. This was his first start since injury, playing against Lofthouse, who’s one of the better young players in this league. In hindsight Kanu would have been the better option for this match.
He (Coker) might not be the long term solution but willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, I still feel he has something to offer when he’s back up to match sharpness.
Do we need reinforcements ? If so who and what position ?

Kanu is right footed... why not give him a go on the right... so not forced to cut inside to deliver ball in the box...Ajtheone04 wrote: ↑19 Nov 2023, 15:09 I think Kanu's best position in this system is LWB. You play him as a 10 and it's much easier to crowd him out and much harder to get him in 1vs1s where he can skin his man. I'm growing less and less fond of Coker but he and Beard should be sufficient cover. Don't think there's any point getting a RWB until we've given Cropper a chance and we have plenty of options in midfield, its just the right combinations haven't been picked in the last couple of games.

Bar yesterday Kanu’s poorest performances this season have been on the right
