I assumed we had cancelled his loan but it seems Sheffield Utd have after receiving a offer from Fleetwood town, where it appears he could be joining on a permanent deal, which ever good luck to the lad, he is still only 19 years old, he helped us and got us out of a hole many times.

Could be driven by FFP, as Sheffield United might need to balance their books.

Whilst I'm sorry to see him go, it's a very good move for him.

Very interesting. I thought he was terrific Last season, has looked particularly shaky so far this season.

There is no doubt that he has great potential, so the best of luck to him!
I was there when Shaun Batt scored…

I would argue that Sheffield Utd are a bigger club than Fleetwood Town. If i were Finley, knowing the premier league club i signed with originally no longer wants to keep me on the books long-term, and is prepared to sell me on, would not be a very good move.

He’s not premier league standard at the moment anyway. League one will be a great test for him and a possible springboard for a great career, I’d be chuffed if I was him, as he is bound to be a first team regular I am sure.

Obviously Sheffield Utd are a bigger club than Fleetwood. However S.U. weren't playing him and Fleetwood presumably will.
