Understand that THFC have activated an option in Josh Keeley’s contract to extend it by a further year. New deal runs until 30 June 2025. Club delighted with the progress the Ireland U21 international has been making whilst on loan at Barnet.
Interesting! Maybe he might be with us next season!

Spurs have extended his contract for another season, not that it'll probably make any difference to us

” Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham said: “I understand as part of the loan, he will still be training at Hotspur Way two or three times a week so that Spurs coaches can keep an eye on him as well.
“I would like to see him do a full year in EFL League One next season, but for now the plan is to get this season out of the way and get 20 appearances under his belt before securing him his next loan move.”

Re: Josh Keeley
I suspect Spurs are paying ALL of his wages and could even be bunging Barnet a bit extra. Tottenham are obviously keen to progress him and see him more than a fill-in for their U23s like many youngsters end up.
Re: Josh Keeley
That's disappointing news! We will just have to find a keeper with similar attributes then.“I would like to see him do a full year in EFL League One next season, but for now the plan is to get this season out of the way and get 20 appearances under his belt before securing him his next loan move.”

Perhaps they will compromise and go a for full season in EFL League 2 instead.JWTBee wrote: ↑14 Feb 2024, 10:16That's disappointing news! Re: Josh Keeley
I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Peterborough next year, regardless of whether they are in the Championship or L1, Fry and co. seem to love taking a risk on a young keeper.
I'd also be surprised if he's still doing half of the week at Spurs and half of the week with us given that Laurie doesn't seem to be around anymore.

Is it time to start a "bring back LW" thread?
