Laurie Walker
Re: Laurie Walker
Quite clearly he's fine if he can do a 62 mile run next week and quite clearly in sanctioning it the club are happy for his situation to be made crystal clear to him and us. It does strike me as a risky strategy. What would happen if Keeley sustained a serious injury? Would we sign another loan keeper to replace him or would Gillmore step up? Who would be in reserve?

Re: Laurie Walker
It is highly unlikely that he is running 62 miles next week (certainly not in one go). It is 62 miles throughout March, which could be just 2 miles a day. A relative of mine is doing the same challenge and they are turned 70. It should be no problem for a fit sportsman like Laurie. It could even be a gentle run-out, if he is, in fact, getting over an injury.becbee wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 17:34 Quite clearly he's fine if he can do a 62 mile run next week and quite clearly in sanctioning it the club are happy for his situation to be made crystal clear to him and us. Re: Laurie Walker
Running 62 miles over 31 days = 2 miles per day is rather different. Thanks for the clarification.Norfolkbee wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 18:01It is highly unlikely that he is running 62 miles next week (certainly not in one go). He’s not doing too badly professionally then, although there’s something a bit ironic about what he does now considering his dad’s history!northantsbee wrote: ↑24 Feb 2024, 09:17https://theorg.com/org/first-response-g ... k-flashman
