Re: Woking (Away) The Mansfield Town Match Thread
We’ve had absolutely zero chances apart from an Okimo worldie. That’s very concerning.
We’ve made no attempt to play our passing game and keep hopelessly lumping it up to O’Donkor (Kabamba he ain’t).
Woking are so poor but we’re putting in a performance similar to that of Dagenham away (*shudders*).
Substitutions and a HUGE rocket needed second half.

What! Not threatening?rudebwoyben wrote: ↑16 Mar 2024, 15:41I wouldn’t say that. I don’t think they have been particularly threatening.
Brunt and O'Donkor off, Gorman and Kabamba on.
Our visits to the corners, which should result in crosses, are more like we're trying to kill time. We just lose the ball nearly every time. Because we spend so much time trying to get in a position to shoot we are not taking any shots.

No subs and we lump it to O’Donkor immediately. Brilliant.

No changes so Connor Smith and Dean must be happy with what they have seen. Wow

Feel that when Hartigan doesn’t play well we don’t play well. Really sets the tone for the team.

Hartigan isn’t doing anything wrong - the players have clearly been told to bypass the midfield. Absolutely ludicrous that we’re playing like this and the management team thinks nothing needs changing.

A high cross catches Keeley out, hits the far post and the rebound is put in.

Yeah in fairness I’m judging him by the high standards at which he usually plays. When you see him misplacing simple passes it just seems to sum up the performanceWhetstoneBee wrote: ↑16 Mar 2024, 16:22 Hartigan isn’t doing anything wrong - the players have clearly been told to bypass the midfield. When we’re bad, boy are we crap.
If we somehow go up we’ll probably be the worst side ever to get promoted out of this league.

Smith on the phone asking DB what to do!

Always leave it too late to bring on subs. Same at Aldershot, Bromley. Desperately need a change by sounds of it.
One of the best strikers in league on bench yet again

Still no subs?!
None of our closest rivals winning, as it stands.

Well this performance shows why attendances are so poor at the Hive.
