I know you're really early in the merch stages, but any chance of car stickers?
Re: Bring Barnet Back - Fundraiser
Spotted both a Bring Back Barnet t-shirt and Theresa Villiers running Oak Hill Parkrun this morning. I'd say it's likely she would have seen it.
Re: Bring Barnet Back - Fundraiser
I'll claim credit for being the Bring Barnet Back Parkrunner (unless there was another that I didn't spot!) I didn't see Ms Villiers but hopefully she took some notice. I did have a handful of people come up to me and make positive noises which is good to see. On the flip side, someone used the word "underhanded" to describe how the club were going about things. Whilst I'm sure all of us disagree with this (and it ignores a lot of context of what has gone before which I pointed out at length) it does show that the non-football aligned of the local residents are going to need some proper stakeholder engagement and management by the Club in addition to the Council.
P.S. Thanks to whoever runs the BBB Instagram for sharing my pic pre-race
P.P.S. Shameless plug but my attendance at Parkrun this year is because I'm raising money for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM - coincidentally Maidenhead's shirt sponsor) by walking / running 5,000km across the year - any donations are much appreciated! https://www.justgiving.com/page/jack-be ... 4132920691

What a bizarre claim. I can appreciated people simply not wanting the stadium, but if anything these plans have been presented with plenty of transparency - there are even monthly updates outlining the progress, what more can be done at this stage?!hadleybee wrote: ↑08 Apr 2024, 07:17I'll claim credit for being the Bring Barnet Back Parkrunner (unless there was another that I didn't spot!) I completely agree that we do need some proper stakeholder engagement, and I'm sure that'll come, but I suppose it's difficult to do that until there are more concrete plans in place.
