Callum Stead

Post: # 374356Post barnetboys »

Does anyone know it Callum Stead will be fit to play on Saturday? In DB's post-match interview last week, he wasn't noted as one of those like Pritch or Thompson who are back to training this week.

Could be a huge loss if not.

Fingers crossed - it was just a dead leg but Dean insinuated he would be rested for Kiddy immediately after the Halifax game. The fact he stated Wynter was the only injured play after Saturday is hopefully a positive (but agree he failed to mentioned Stead at all).

Agreed, although doesn't appear to be in the latest training photos released - albeit one or two players are hidden.

Whatever happened to Maguire-Drew? Showed some promise but now seems to have completely disappeared.

Congested position...

Behind in the pecking order with the ever improving Freeman/ returning Kanu and stalwart Pritch

Jordan M-D is on loan until the end of the season. Barnet has an option to sign him on a free transfer.
I would not be surprised if Mr Brennan does not take up the option, particularly if we get promoted.

Agreed. He’s well behind Freeman/Brunt/Kanu/Stead/Pritchard

Had a very poor game at Woking followed by a poor showing as sub vs Eastleigh when we were hanging on at 2-1 and then found other players returning from injury moving above him in the Pecking order.

Either through fitness of not being selected I would be very surprised if Dean was to sign him on permanent deal.

Well there’s a surprise.
Yeovil have released their list of retained players and Jordan M-D is one of the players to remain under contract.

He probably wasn’t out of contract.

He wasn't as per Yeovil's list.
