2 away games to start on consecutive Saturday’s seems strange . They’ve near enough given up on the local Christmas fixtures.

One thing that stands out to me after looking at the fixtures is how wide open the league is going to be this season, I can't see anyone running away with the title and I can't see anyone being that far adrift, with the possible exception of Tamworth

York, Yeovil and Forest Green away (and home) all on Tuesday nights. Yeah right to their claim they try for local fixtures on Tuesdays. Shame, was hoping for a weekender at one of those. The clubs must request those, as it would be too much fluke otherwise. We haven't played York on a Saturday for years.

Ah bugger. I'll have to wait until 31st Aug for my debut. Away for the first two home games.

Gutted York away is on a school night but hopefully will get to Oldham and Fylde away

It’s a bugger from me too.
No Manchester trips until 22nd February. My grandson will not be happy.

Was hoping for a home game or at least a local away game on New Year’s Day. Bloody Eastleigh. One of the few positives of being out of the league has been that at least they have in recent times tried to help fans by keeping the Christmas and New Year Games local. Until now.

Also, the 9-day gap before the last game of the season is just weird, isn’t it? Obviously it helps Wealdstone, who will be playing on the Tuesday and Thursday at the Wealdstone Water Park (Copyright DSH), but for the rest of us it seems strange. Is it really so that they can avoid the Saturday 3pm blackout rule? Does that really give much/any benefit to the broadcasters or the clubs?

Also, this is all very well, but where are the fixtures for our new Premier League Little Kickers Super Shield? They’re the ones we really want to know about.

That's what I thought about York. So annoying, it's ideal city for a weekend away. I can make midweek breaks but many fans can't.
My daughters missed the last FGR away as they were on holiday, they were gutted then and were looking forward to going this season but won't now be able to.
Yeovil away was on Tuesday night last time we played them.

But against this for me is Halifax away first Saturday of the season. Every season I've wanted to go to Halifax, every season I've not made it. No excuse this season!

Our last away game of last season is the first of this.

After the summer we've had, is Halifax definitely not going to be at Accrington?

3 trips to/near Manchester in 4 weeks instead! Again, I'm sure this happens most seasons.

Yes, including successive Saturdays to Rochdale and Oldham in midwinter. Season before last they were Tuesday / Saturday. So infuriating.

Hardly, Sutton isn’t far and Eastleigh is my local fixture :-)

Sutton is at the hive anyway.
Agree though Eastleigh ain't local it could have been worse.
