Private Message Apology

Post: # 377905Post becbee »

Earlier today I sent a PM. For all it was only addressed to the one person I wished to receive it, for reasons totally beyond me, it somehow sent to random other message board users.

I've replied to a couple but this is intended as an apology to those I've not yet contacted and those I doubtless don't know that I've unintentionally disturbed. Please just ignore.

The bad news is that I'm intending to send another P.M. later tonight. I will do my very best to avoid a repeat but as I can't understand why things went wrong before, I can't be certain that I won't repeat my incompetence. If I do, please just ignore.

Thanks

Thanks becbee. I've done that before too. Make sure "Registered users" are not in the recipients field.

No worries becbee. There was an option to add "registered users" to the recipients field which you may have tapped by accident. I've removed that feature for non admins so you should be safe for any new PMs. If yourself or hoppy are going to reply to that existing PM please make sure to remove "registered users" from the to field before sending.

And I'm sorry to hear of what happened/is happening in your home town.

Thanks Sam, that must be where I went wrong!

Good to at least have an explanation.

No need to apologise, the events of Monday shocked the nation. So so sad. R.I.P. Little Angels.
