Ex Academy Keeper Joshua Blackburn, looking for a club after being released from Concord Rangers
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Southend looking to sign Josh Keeley apparently
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
When you consider DB said spurs plan for Keeley was to go league 1 or 2 after his loan with us, it speaks volume on how successful it was if he’s staying in the national league.

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I'm surprised at this. Thought CAN was highly rated and doesn't really make sense to replace him with a young loanee, (especially one who isn't amazing at keeping the ball out of the net, whatever his other qualities). As well as Keeley did with us, (and I think it was a good move all in all), I'm not sure I would be signing him at Sarfend, (where he would seemingly have to play).
Maybe the fact that that they only have 1 GK on their books is the issue, and the fact that Spurs would likely be more interested in how often he plays than how much of his wages get paid.
Will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Does anyone know what % of his wages we paid when he was with us? 0%?

Alfie is a good mate of mine and stopped playing football a few years back to focus on his acting career. He produced a wonderful football related production highlighting the mental health struggles of young academy players once they have been released. The player at Kings Langley must be a different person.
