Barnet Programmes

Post: # 379862Post pletch99 »

I need to get rid of most of my programme collection. I'll be throwing them out, if nobody wants them. Not looking for any money. There may a few items worth something among the collection, but I can't be bothered to do the research.

I've no idea of numbers but I attended most home games between the mid eighties and when we stopped having a printed programme plus about 50% of away fixtures, plus a wide variety of other games I've attended from Premier League to step 6 & & 7 games. I've also got a small number of Barnet home games from before my first visit to Underhill in 1983 - Certainly some from the 1970s and possibly a few dating further back.

I'll be keeping a small selection of games that mean something to me (i.e. my first, first home game in the league etc)

In total I've got about 6-8 large card board boxes worth. If anybody is interested let me know, and we can arrange a convenient home game for me to hand them over - you'll need a large car boot or at least an empty car.

Can I be cheeky and request just one, if you have it? Barnet v Altrincham, April 1st 1989, which was my first game.

Very happy to buy you a beer, coffee, rola cola for your trouble before a game.
I want to be good, is that not enough.

You can be cheeky. If I've got it, it's yours. I can't easily get at them, so won't pull any of them out until I know whether I'm handing them over or they are being thrown out, so I will get back to you.

That's appreciated. Thank you.
