Fylde £5 ticket offer

Post: # 380466Post AidanGRH »

Whatever our views are on the merits of the post match interview, this offer, on the back of it, should generate a big uplift in our attendance.

We've also given ourselves a couple of weeks notice which is also welcomed.

Hopefully we have a plan in place to try and take advantage of new, or lapsed, visitors on the day. One off price reductions don't work in the long term. So what should we be doing to try and encourage people to return? Obviously the game and result makes a difference, but we can't control that.

I'd love to see a promotion where on the day there is a ticket promotion. Not expecting £5 a ticket, but a multi discount to bring people back.

What else should we have in place, and what else can we do to try and make sure it isn't a single visit for the Fylde game?
I want to be good, is that not enough.

Due to other commitments and distance, I can normally only get to one match in a month. Got tickets for Braintree tomorrow and will definitely try and get down for this and see if I can get a workmate who lives in Mill Hill to come along

Not being able to buy tickets at the door is the problem. Can't suddenly decide "Ogh yeah lets go and watch the Bees play"

You know, it really is strange how much it offends you that people have a life outside of supporting Barnet.

Dean Brennan has credit in the bank to complain about supporters. You, not so much.

Here is an idea - let’s fill out the safe standing area for the fylde game. I’ve spoken to those I know in the AB. Why doesn’t everyone who isn’t tied by season tickets try and get over that side and bring some noise and positivity from that side.

Even with a west stand season ticket, you can transfer your seat for individual games to the standing area for free. That's what I'm doing tomorrow.

I had no idea about this. Do you know if it's possible to move your seat within the Legends Stand for an individual match? That would be very useful if you have someone joining you for a game, if there's no space next to your regular seat.

Yes, that too.

In your account go to "My current tickets". Click "Show more" to find the specific game you want to amend and then "Move seat".

It's a great little perk for ST holders. It even seems to let you move to the away end if you are so inclined.
