The Three Bees !

Post: # 396578Post fordybarnet »

Beerilliant finish today Bees, well done again. What a season !

Also just 3 teams in top 5 divisions kept clean sheet at home this season,
Bees, Burnley and Brum, the Three Bees !

Back in the 60's there used to be a team played down Barnet Lane playing fields called 'Three Bees',
think they were named after, Barnet Lane, Brent Place and Brook Place !

They used to play where hopefully our New Underhill will bee !

I assume that you mean unbeaten at home this season? Not a clean sheet!?

My Dad used to play for 3B's. Ironically, he also played for a local team called Turf Moor!
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

That's great, thanks, funny about Turf Moor, i lived in Barnet Lane next to Underhill for 22 years and remember teams playing down the playing fields but only remember 3B's and Old Stationers really, a long time ago for me now !

]Three Bs played in the Northan suburban league. I played against them for Friern Barnet I think old Barnet player Jeff Voyce played for them.
