Hive Foundation Gala Dinner

Post: # 396904Post Guiseleybee »

Did anyone attend this on Thursday? Haven’t seen anything about it so wondering if it even went ahead?

Shame it wasn’t really promoted well or marketed at every day fans to encourage attendance with the pricing.

From what I read it didn't sound like the sort of event that the every day fan would have been likely to attend.

Not sure how many tickets the club expected to sell with these prices:

Table of 10: £1,200

Table of 8: £1,000

Tickets: £150 per person (minimum 4)

I thought about it but tickets were so expensive I wasn't sure if aimed at fans. How about a community day at the Hive instead and a chance for all fans to get a chance to see/get a photo with the trophy/players etc? I feel this record breaking team really deserves it, plus there are plenty of fans who didn't get a chance with the way the trophy presentation was done. Doesn't seem like the councils are going to celebrate our achievement. Get the squad together for a final time and any Barnet legends.

Such fond memories of meeting Fairclough and the trophy in the club shop back in the day.

Oh well I hope you enjoyed it.

Did you get any pictures?

Is it true that Zak Brunt led the singing in the council chamber with Glover, Coleman and Blackman?
