There was a cut off date for comments to be made, so without a very good reason they will be disregarded. Anyway there's not many of them so the balance is still strongly in our favour.PBBee wrote: ↑05 Jul 2025, 10:14 Had an email that the application had been updated so had a look at comments on it again- how have people’s comments been added through June.
Quite depressing as every single comment I clicked on here was an objection? https://publicaccess.barnet.gov.uk/onli ... 7ARJIIF700

Re: Bring Barnet Back - Update
I really don't want to be negative with all the good work that has and continues to go on, but reading the Committee Meeting report does not make me feel very positive. Recommended for refusal subject to referral to the Mayor of London. Even Sport England recommend for refusal, on the grounds of limited community benefit, which I find rather baffling.
Will keep writing my letters, we've done all we can for what's in our hands but there may be more to go yet!

Yeah having read that it doesn’t look good at all. I can’t copy and paste but the end of page 45 and page 46 essentially say that even with special circumstances it’s still not justifiable.wearebees wrote: ↑08 Jul 2025, 11:47 I really don't want to be negative with all the good work that has and continues to go on, but reading the Committee Meeting report does not make me feel very positive.
