Jake Tarbor has signed for Swindon Town following 127 goals in 91 appearances at Step 5. Will be interesting to see how he gets on.

They were one of the top scorers in the league last season, (70+ goals), and their top scorers were Smith with 15 and Tshimanga with about 12. With Tshimanga leaving there might be an opportunity for Jake to play there. Will be interesting to see how Holloway uses him.

Tabor has been called "the next Jamie Vardy". However, signing a player like this is always a case of " you pays your money, you take your chance". Remember Daggers signed Paul Benson and we got lumbered with Anthony Thomas.

Well hes 14th in the all time scoring charts, despite playing for a side that has only finished in the top 10 3 times.

I think Jamie Vardy is brilliant. Didn't even play in the Premier League until he was 25 and became 14th top goal-scorer ever, (yes I know that football existed before the Premier League), and did so playing for a "small" club.

Particularly love that his record of scoring against the bigger clubs was so good.

Played and scored for England too. What's not to like?

Love his attitude and if we're gonna blame him for the failings of his wife then.......

McGoldrick (ex of Notts Co), is signing for Chesterfield after taking a huge pay cut.

They're still suffering an injury crisis with many players out until October

Will be interesting to see who features for them in 1st friendly this afternoon.

My understanding is that only players still out are Madden and Mandeville, neither of who are 1st choice.
