Re: 2 free Coventry ticket offer
Not got mine - which is a blow as I've invited people to the game. Just called the Club and was told that they are a bit short-staffed so as a result there is only one person dealing with the backlog. This is about 200 odd emails they need to get through - but they hope to get them completed today (although there is no guarantee they will).
So to put a positive spin on it:
1) as always there's never a dull moment following this marvellous Club of ours
2) there is someone who is working really hard to get us all sorted
3) the adrenalin rush when (if) the ticket comes will be memorable
4) looks like the offer has been popular - so a decent crowd for Saturday
Come on my ticket and COYB

my ticket was for the same block in the west stand as my regular seat.MCB wrote:Are the tickets emailed? And what stands do they plonk you in?
I've two memberships, so 4 x tickets & Darrenp77 is trying to get me tickets c/o others he was previously offered. I have people that will come if I can get them free tickets, but there will be a cut off point when they'll think 'stuff this' and organise something else and I could be left with spare tickets... if they were in hand last week i'd have guaranteed up to 7 new people. As of now, possibly only 1, and I may end up having to buy him a ticket.

I'm sure there will be some on Saturday with freebies outside so we can hand them out to fellow bees if need be?

And relax....all 3 tickets arrived electonically woohoo. FYI I sent my mail on 29th September so a fair number of
applications must have been processed before then.

Have my 8 free tickets now, but only having had a bit of a moan. Clearly the one person looking after all the applications is run off her feet. More poor planning by THL to not have put things in place for this.

I got mine as well and have been allocated two tickets for the South Terrace. Where have other people been allocated?

Re: 2 free Coventry ticket offer
It does seem a little disorganised - what with the free member tickets and the £2 ticket deal that was tweeted by Barnet Council.
Am sure this game could have been identified as a potential 'biggie' when the fixtures came out at the beginning of the season, especially with the International Break known about months ago too - would have made sense to organise whatever ticket offers they wanted to do well in advance (even if they didn't want to announce it until closer to the game, would have been good to have everything in place for it)
Still, ticket offers and good and an increased attendance is good (maybe we won't be outnumbered by the Cov fans!) so let's hope we can top it off with 3 points.
Looking forward to this game, hope we can turn things around.

Our of interest, everyone who has got their additional tickets have people to use them? Home crowd has to be 2k - 2.3k surely?

Comfortably over 2k you'd think. If the usual 1,500 show up, plus 500 others, add the 1,000 visiting fans. We should be somewhere over the 3,000 mark.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

In the end I followed the lead of others and contacted the club and got sent the tickets immediately.

I chased by email, and got a phone call 5 mins later, and my tickets followed. West Stand, Block E.
Fabulously helpful in the end. As I said on another thread, Barnet often end up doing the right thing, just too late!
