Tickets have now come through, and can now relax as they were for another member on this forum

God I do love this club, but they do try hard to make things as difficult and complexed as possible

The problem with tickets only arriving today is that some of us ended up having to buy extra tickets the last time there was a similar offer as we never received the tickets. As a consequence, my son and I have not yet invited anyone to join us as we didn't want to be in the same bind as last time so whether we have takers for both our spares remains to be seen.

Reckless alludes to a few people with spares - my 2 spares went in seconds after posting here and a few other regulars contacted me since asking for them

So if you do have unused tickets say so as I reckon they will get snapped up. Let's fill the place as much as possible !

With over 4k as the announced attendance it looked like there was a good take up of the offer. There was certainly a good crowd.

There were about 2,700 Barnet fans there Saturday, compared to about the usual 14-1500. I think it shows that if prices were more affordable or more offers made ie, 2 for1 or 1+1 half price, people will attend. With many free tickets given out Saturday, a lot of revenue would have been recouped through the Bars & Food outlets.

Let's hope there is some middle ground that suits everyone - cheaper match day tickets, and if need be, cheaper memberships.

Let's face it, the cheap & free tickets were covered by the sky money, but I hope that increased bar / chicken takings made this a worthwhile experiment. The atmosphere wasn't stunning, the game wasn't amazing, but it felt really good having over 2,500 home fans in attendence, and to have that crowd in the Hive every game is to everyones benefit.

Let's learn from this TK! Some good decisions made on Saturday. The new graphics on the East Stand looked good, the beer for the South Stand crew was a welcome addition - let's build on this...

And there would have been an extra 200+ if we'd actually got the free tickets out even earlier.

A good test would be to do exactly the same offer against a team who are less of a big name and not on Sky and seem if the home support is comparable.
