Signings
Re: Signings
Doesn't make any difference if our signings come at 11am or 10.59pm as long as they are made...

Re: Signings
It's an average striker at NL North level, don't get too excited.
Re: Signings
I see Ricky Miller joined Mansfield on loan, not a permanent deal. So transfer fees had nothing to do with it in the end.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Signings
George Legg, GK from Reading on loan.
The one position we don't need, FFS.
Why do we need another keeper?

Re: Signings
Not a priority but sensible if Stephens' fitness is touch and go.
Re: Signings
Not as sensible as signing players in the positions where we actually need them!!!!!!Sam_BFC wrote:Not a priority but sensible if Stephens' fitness is touch and go.
Re: Signings
Surely we can use emergency loans if Ross gets injured?
I genuinely think Westley's done this because his height obsession has led him to believe that Ross isn't tall enough. Which is literally the last thing that explains why we concede so many goals.

Re: Signings
Based on signing number one, our second signing will be a right back! We have to wait until 30 minutes before the deadline for this announcement, a loan goalkeeper! Did we have to beat off the competition or something?

Might help prevent set piece goals if he is tall enough to come and get it!#Beebot wrote:Surely we can use emergency loans if Ross gets injured?

Re: Signings
We're conceding due to poor marking from set pieces mainly.jerroll wrote:Might help prevent set piece goals if he is tall enough to come and get it!#Beebot wrote:Surely we can use emergency loans if Ross gets injured?

Re: Signings
Who has noticed that the signings are pictured in broad daylight?
Re: Signings
Perhaps, but is he that short that when he is off the ground his outstretched arm is below the head of an attacking player?jerroll wrote:Might help prevent set piece goals if he is tall enough to come and get it!#Beebot wrote:Surely we can use emergency loans if Ross gets injured?

Re: Signings
Don’t think he plays as a striker for Nuneaton. From YouTube highlights it looks like he either plays wide in a front three or in behind the striker. Neither of which positions we’ll be seeing in any Barnet line up for the remainder of the season! suspect he’ll be played as a striker by Westley. Puts his goals record this season in a slightly different light, though.#Beebot wrote:It's an average striker at NL North level, don't get too excited.

Tin Plavotic (CB!) joins on loan from Bristol City.
