Getting away from the theatre of screams will be a welcome relief for many I am sure and also an opportunity for Harry Kewell's charges to show what they can do after their trip to Hawaii last week. After last year's opening day shellacking at the hands of Eastleigh things looked ok at half time before the Doc got struck off for incompetence and the rest of the team folded. Whether this was an aberration or if this team will be as awful as last year's remains to be seen but we no longer have the safety net of Foxy's null and void refrain to fall back on
Solihull who have in the past boasted considerable spending power thanks to their owners being involved in Land Rover have gone rather off the road to promotion in recent years. Having lurked in Conference South they have been on a voyage of discovery in recent seasons, aided by the likes of Paul McCallum and they were also managed by a former bees manager Tim Flowers (although he doesn't like to mention that

For those hardy bees making a trip up the M40 a cheap day out awaits and thankfully with ground developments they now offer food in the ground. Although I would argue the worst away ground experience in the league (apart from us last Saturday!!!) the opportunity for a stop off in Stratford on Avon is a season highlight and one I will be sorry to miss.
On to the football and after the disaster of last week I hope Kewell sets us up as harder to beat.

I hope that last week was just a new team losing out to a settled big team and not a sign of things to come. COYB's
