Surprised that he hasn't already found a club - would be an impressive signing if we can get a deal done.

Agreed. Would be a seriously strong defence

Apparently he is training with us for fitness, and won’t be signing.

I liked Greenidge no nonsense defending and ability to bring ball out of defence, but fitness simply too fragile. Expect the same again if he did sign for us - i.e. knock after knock.

It is frustrating that players like Santos have miracle recoveries where they play every match for new clubs who clearly have no need to "manage" injuries.

I agree.

When Greenidge was fit for a prolonged period he was quality but as he was getting back to full fitness he was error prone and looking at his appearance record don’t think it’s a punt worth taking.

He won’t be cheap either, whilst he’ll take a big cut from his reported Bolton salary it will still likely be a lot for us.

Seems quite likely that's how other clubs think seeing how he's still without a club. Either that or his wage demands are too high.

Surely, instances like Santos and various others say more about the medical and rehabilitation regime that has operated at Barnet in recent years.

Sounds like he might have to moderate his wage demands soon.
Perhaps he could sign for us on non-contract terms?

Greenidge looked great at first but for a player who is 6ft 5 plus, he didn’t win anywhere near enough headers in ours and the other team’s boxes. We conceded far too many goals from set pieces with him in the side. To me it looked like his timing to jump for the ball was off.
On the deck with the ball he seemed neat and tidy but defensively his footwork isn’t great.
I wonder if he was one of the players DB suggested didn’t have enough character as he was in and out of the team with niggly injuries

Has anybody heard who we might be going after, seems after DB post match interview he feels that with Ephron gone we are short of pace, so assume he is looking at either attacking midfielder or wide player, and he must be looking at bringing in at least one if not two strikers, plus as mentioned on hear many feel we need another centre half. ?

Had a look to see if Walsh was in the team at Beaconsfield and learnt that Sam Granville now plays for them.

Walsh is still there and playing, albeit I don’t think he’s scored any goals.

The number 9, Nathan Minhas, is still scoring in seemingly every match.

Bold decision to let Granville go on loan - if just 9 or 10 central midfielders picked up injuries, he would be required.
