On the topic of ex-Woking players, Max Kretzschmar leaving them too now after failing to agree terms. Good attacking midfielder with 13 goals from midfield last season, although I believe a lot of those were penalties.

Anybody spotted a useful keeper yet? Got a feeling we may go along the loan route again. EFL clubs are always looking for game time for keepers.

Thought this was a likely one!
Well called!
Agreed! Well done! Any more transfer rumours? :)

I’d like us to sign Kretzchmar who just left Woking as well

Looks a good pro to bring in. I think we need 2-3 players like this to bring some experience into the side. I felt we had 2-3 too many young players in the 1st team and suffered when our backs were against the wall. Bringing a player like this would be a good call for me.

Ha - no more rumours I’m afraid. This was guess work, talking of which…

I’ve mentioned this one before, but I expect Brennan would like to sign his ex Hemel goalkeeper Laurie Walker as our number one. We were set to sign him on loan last season from MK Dons before we signed Sargeant, but Oldham had an emergency so they sent him to the football league instead. He’s not a free agent but is on the transfer list at Stevenage, so I imagine matching his current wages will be the issue. He had a very successful 10 game loan spell at Aldershot last season.

Another keeper who looks good on paper is Ross Fitzsimons. He was Weymouth’s player of the year last season, and is a free agent. Played every game bar the last one for Weymouth last season.

We also know that Brennan would probably love to sign Charlie Wakefield, who doesn’t appear to have signed a new deal at Yeovil yet. Brennan had him at Wealdstone and raved about him before our game at Huish Park.

However, if Yeovil’s offer is too low for him he’s obviously unlikely to accept ours! He was a youngster at Chelsea, so he may want to come back to this part of the world, I suppose, maybe …?

Wakefield is a pacy right winger. Would be an ideal replacement for Mason Clark, if Ephron is to depart this summer.

So we’ve signed a new CB and holding mid.

Surely an experienced GK and big man up front must be the next priorities?

Could do with some more pace in the squad, mind you…

We have needs all over the pitch still, I don't think it matters too much in what order we fill them. Obviously we do need a keeper, but we also need a right back, at least one more centre back, cover at left back, an attacking midfielder, some midfield width and at least a couple of strikers, assuming Marriott goes else where. I am also presuming EMC will be off....

New signings to date.
Right back - Danny Collinge
Central defence - Moussa Diarra
Defensive mid - Michael Phillips.
So who and what position will be next through the door. We all know a keeper should be one.
Creative midfielder x 2
Striker x2

Wouldn't be surprised if Jerome Okime joins us as part of that leadership Brennan wants us to have!

It's obvious that Brenan wants to sign a spine of players he knows will run through hoops for us. I'm waiting for the flair players that will be needed to give us a chance of pushing for play-off places. DB was very complimentary of the Halifax manager who produced a team under a small budget to perform in this league last season.

Scratch that - new deal for him at Yeovil announced this evening. Shame. I wonder if that’s a target missed out on.

I’d be happy with that.
