Robin Tank Goldman
Re: Robin Tank Goldman
This is probably the biggest loss Barnet FC had this season
Tank was and still is a legend and always positive how ever bad Barnet were doing and always had a massive smile
RIP TANK

Re: Robin Tank Goldman
Such devastating news. I've never spoken to him, but he was a face to me from both Barnet Tennis Club and BFC and just generally around Barnet. Always had a smile on his face. Can recall him making me laugh on the old East terrace many a time when stood nearby. My condolences to his friends and family. He, and other Barnet fans sadly no longer with us, shall never be forgotten and will be much missed.

Oh, bless you Tank, always part of the Bees crowd and an avid supporter. As said, well known on the Underhill East Terrace
and always ready with some humour and a smile.
Condolences to all your family and friends, you will be missed mate.

So sad, I saw Robin most days as I live very near The Queens Arms. Always had time to exchange a word or two. Will remember match days at Underhill and playing against the supporters team featuring Tank. Sadly missed. X

Such sad news. R.I.P big man
Re: Robin Tank Goldman
I've only just seen this last night.
What a terrible shock. Robin always said "Alright Psycho!" What a tremendous and friendly man. I used to stand near him at Underhill and The Hive. One of the biggest compliments I can pay him was that I don't think I ever heard him use bad language. That's not to say he didn't give referees some stick when they didn't award Barnet a free-kick or penalty!
And for the last time:
"Who broke Crawley's wall?
"Who broke Crawley's wall........
RIP Robin and condolences to his family. I really hope the big man is given a good send off tomorrow at his funeral.

Is it tomorrow? I saw Robin's friend Simon (used to steward at Underhill) on Saturday and he seemed to think he'd missed the funeral.
Edit: just saw the post with the funeral details.

On Friday In Recovery played at a charity event at the queen's Arms in aid of Epilepsy Action I'm memory of tank. Village also presented a player signed shirt to the pub with "Tank 52" on the back.
A good evening
