Why is he no longer at that level? Why was he released by Eastleigh who were just as inept as us.

Don’t get me wrong it’s okay signing but we’ve not signed a single player where I’ve thought If they’d signed for someone else I’d of been envious.

Looking at his record he is defintely NL level, maybe not L2 level. I think bringing in more experience into the team is a good call. Just looking for that one x factor signing that could excite us. Not seen this yet. Hopeful it will.

That’s a very simplistic take. Maybe he didn’t want to play the style of football Eastleigh intend to play or the manager felt he didn’t fit his style? Maybe we gave him a better offer and he ran his deal down?

As for why has he been released by Eastleigh - why does any NL / L2 player get released? Very many reasons, not always because they're not good enough.

I want us to sign young, hungry players from this level and the levels below. Why aren’t we signing the best players from the NLS/NLN?

Average age of our signings so far is about 33!
