Saturday’s FA Trophy game is a difficult one to call. Looking at league positions and current form it would seem to be a no-brainer. A Bees win and more dosh into the back pocket.
However, there are other factors to put into the mix.
Will Mr Brennan take the opportunity to rest players? We have Notts County on Tuesday. Does Mr Brennan consider the result of that match to be more important than this FA Trophy match?
Torquay dont have a mid-week match next week so will they put out their strongest team? They need league points for a different reason to us and they play us again next Saturday.
How I wish we had advance notice of the true intentions of both managers!
For me, I will probably have a Bet In Play, maybe wait until half-time before making a decision.

Well, the bookies got it right for the Notts County game. It was worth a small wager on the Bees at 7/1 and you could be forgiven for thinking at half-time that more dosh was heading the way of your piggy bank. Oh well, never mind. Onwards and upwards.

Uncertainty still surrounds the Bees after three successive defeats. We will come through this bad patch but will it be this Saturday? Aldershot must be smelling blood!

Similar odds tonight to the Aldershot game (the bookies got it right) and similar comments. Odds-on prices when we are playing an improving team do not attract me.
