Well, as I type, Twitter finally updated.
That story wasn’t up on the Posh website 3 hours ago. Suspect it’s some quirk of their website whereby a draft of the story was written and uploaded three hours ago in readiness before a coordinated publication alongside us, causing it to indicate that it’s been up for that long.

Peterborough forum not overly complimentary about the lad, saying "how much did we pay them"

I couldn’t care less what the Posh fans have said to be honest. Their level D1 and we’re asking him to perform 2 divisions below. If he was making Aldershot’s first team at 17 then he’s clearly talented

Just interested were did you read that it was a two year deal, as not seen that on our website. Twitter or Peterboroughs. Just signed for undisclosed fee mentioned.

Don’t know anything about the guy, but worth remembering:

We gave them Jack Taylor, Ronnie Edwards and EMC.

They gave us Tasdemir.

...and Santos.

Welcome to the club Idris. I guess EMC leaving created some Elba room.

Shots fans have noticed that we have signed him and it appears that they remember him fondly.

Hopefully he can hit the ground training in that big number 11 pressure shirt.

To me this is an indication that we are starting to treat players better. The culture of anyone but Barnet is maybe on the decline with signings like this. The players are buying into DB culture too.

Obviously helped with good relations between the 2 clubs.

Looks like a good option as a right-winger/right-sided ‘forward’. As Brennan has said, with Mason-Clark gone we were looking a bit short of pace and this signing seems to address that.

Still need that central striker to share the load with/provide cover for Kabamba - hopefully that’s the next one, along with a right-sided centre half!

Hopefully CB will be next and striker shortly afterwards

DB is having a influence on the signings we know this as we beat burton to the signature of Kanu which is credit to Dean

Great recruitment this pre-season.

So much better than experienced pros with 300+ games to name....until you get to previous 2 years when only played about 1 1/2 times hopping on one leg.

So nice to actually look forward to watching the team play and evolve rather than sense of apathy and forcing myself to go!! I can live with the catering shenanigans while this continues.

Walker, Diarra, Collinge, Gorman and Kabamba are a warrior spine!

I cannot see the figure being this low, hoping it is, but don't see why a first division club the size of
Peterborough who No longer required the services of a youth/ reserve player would even bother
with asking or wanting £15 grand for him rather than just let him leave. Because of the comments from previous managers and being only 22years old I would not be overly surprised if the fee was
much higher, but as said I hope your figure is more accurate.

Pure speculation and likely we'll never know either way but I doubt even L1 clubs would be so arrogant as to turn up their noses at £10- £15k. Still pay a few bills.
Apparently he was their longest serving player!
