I imagine the funeral will be next Saturday so that means Solihull away will be off. Personally I'd rather tomorrow and next Tuesday's matches were on - I think we need some normalcy in our lives, certainly after yesterday afternoon / evening I know that I do. I barely slept last night. But it is a one-off in all our lives.

Presumably they’ll follow what happened when the last Monarch passed away. Anyone know what happened then - I wasn’t born yet.

Game should go on ahead with a minute's silence.

Not sure why sport should be singled out when we still have to work and shops/bars still open? Doesn't make any sense at all.

The guidance on the period of National Mourning doesn’t require Sports organisations to cancel or postpone events.

Good to hear, hopefully we can see the bees in action tomorrow and still pay our respects.

It's probably not so much to do with what the rules say but more the mood of the country. And as has been said if the funeral is next Saturday that would mean further postponements. Difficult decision. They've even cancelled the last night of the proms which is a very British event so anything could happen.

Bad decision. I and other people are going to be very resentful at being made to mourn.

All English football called off. Completely unnecessary.

Either we are in mourning or we aren't. If we are in mourning, why are we all at work?

Good decision. I and other people are going to be very glad to have the opportunity to pay our respects for somebody who fundamentally seemed to be a good person and gave great service to our country.

We beg to differ.

Agree with this weekends fixtures cancelled, however should go ahead next week (apart from funeral day.)
