Chelsea v Liverpool OFF
Man Utd v Leeds OFF
Brighton v Palace OFF This game was called off last week because of the proposed train strike. Now strike is off, Brighton can't re-instate game.
Spurs v Leicester ON Because it's on TV
Brentford v Arsenal ON Because it's on TV

Chelsea v Liverpool on Sunday (perhaps)
Brighton v Palace on Saturday (unlikely)
Man Utd v Leeds on Sunday (very doubtful)

More likely that they don’t trust these matches not to result in bad publicity.
Brighton vs Palace was called off already due to rail strikes Derek.

Mourners will be attending London in unprecedented numbers over the weekend to visit the coffin while it lies in state and police resources will be pulled from across the country.

The rail strike was called off last Friday, we are talking about a fixture over a week later.

Brentford v Arsenal is going ahead with an earlier kick off.
QPR, Millwall and Watford all going ahead on Saturday
Tottenham are at home on Sunday

Why would you call off a game in Manchester to allow police numbers into London and then let 5 games in London go ahead, including a London derby ?

To be fair Derek I haven't a clue. Also surprised Arsenal Europa game was called off.

Any Bee ex-Coppers who can help?

The PSV fans require much more extensive policing.

There’s still 4 way traffic lights at the Edgware Road station road junction causing major disruption. Particularly bad between 5 and 7

Harrow v Hendon tonight has just been called off because of road closures near and around RAF Northolt.

Without having any inside knowledge but fitting the criteria above I would suggest the following in relation to some of the comments made concerning possible cancellations and aid to MPS.

The MPS will have a significant say in which games can go ahead from a public order perspective if there is no outright cancellation policy. One of the games mentioned by Derek is Watford which is policed by Herts Constabulary. Mention is also made of games going ahead in Manchester if there was aid to London from other areas. I would imagine the aid will come from the non Metropolitan force areas and these officers will be deployed on the more ceremonial duties, leaving some more specialist MPS officers to police the potential public order flash points at London football games.

When London held the Olympics I was working in security at the university of london. We had between 3000-4000 Police from various areas staying in our on site accommodation. Wales, manchester, Leeds etc. They were nearly as bad as the students. Imagine same sort of thing will be done for this coming weekend as students don't start back till approx 29th.

Any prospect of a pre-match interview or is that still beyond the capabilities of our five-person “media team”?

Isn't this supposed to be the Dorking match thread?
It's been 21 posts since the flipping match was discussed. My heart says a 6-1 home win but my head says a 1 - 1 draw.

I think your heart has lost it if it's expecting 6-1. Apart from against the hapless Dover last season, it's years since we scored 6 goals in a match.

I’ll have some of what your taking! Will be a tough game! I’d just settle for the win.
